FAQ
1. Are the cells used in refilled battery new and reliable?
Depending on shape and chemistry of your battery, we strictly use brand name cells like Samsung, Panasonic and Sanyo.
2. How do I find out how much it will cost?
Depending on your battery chemistry, voltage and capacity, we can tell you by phone, e-mail or using our Q & A Board for the total cost of service.
3. Can you refill Ni-Mh and Li-ion batteries?
Yes, We do with our newest technology and expertise we refill all kinds of batteries.
4. Today I received refilled battery; however, it was exactly the same as before. It charged in 5 minutes and ran only for 15 minutes. What happened?
All refilled batteries has to be fully charged/discharged at least 1 to 3 times(3 cycles)depending on your computer. Some batteries require more than 10 cycles to fully recognize refilled cell capacity. This is because of the Digital Memory effect.

To change memorized charging capacity prior to refill, you need to reset power Options. Follow these steps,
· Click on Start>Shut Down
· Choose settings and then control panel
· On the control panel click on power options(power schemes)
And change setting for Max battery power scheme to “never”
· Click on Alarms and disable low and critical battery alarm by leaving it unchecked
· Next click on Advanced option and change to “Do nothing”
· Lastly, first click on “apply” and then “o.k”

*After changing these settings, charge and discharge battery fully one to three times.
Now the refilled battery and the battery pack circuit’s state will be in agreement (You can go back to power setting and reset options according to your needs)
5. How do I charge and discharge refill battery?
Follow these instructions
For WINDOWS ME, WINDOWS 2000, WINDOWS XP
· Fully charge battery
· Click on Start> Shut Down
· Choose “Restart”
· Click OK
· Press F8 until only a black screen and text appears(Start again if windows starts normally)
· Choose “Safe Mode with Command Prompt”
· Unplug the A/C from the computer
· Leave computer as is until it shuts down by itself, fully discharging the battery
For WINDOW 98, WINDOW 95
· Fully charge battery
· Click on Start> Shut Down
· Choose “Restart in MS-DOS mode”
· Click OK
· Unplug the A/C from the computer
· Leave computer as is until it shuts down by itself, fully discharging the battery
Lastly, try setting the “Low battery Alarm” to 5% and “Critical battery alarm” to 3%
6. Can I refill batteries by myself?
No, it will be hard to change Li-ion batteries by yourself. These batteries are usually not sold in open market and even if you had right cells it will be impossible to put together the cell without a special welder. Also, opening the case without damaging the inside circuit will be difficult without proper equipment.
7. Is it still possible to refill my battery if my battery is completely dead?
If your battery has even 1 to 5 minutes of life span and is working properly, it is possible to refill your battery with a 99% successive rate(this is because your battery circuit is still working). If your charged battery does not turn on because it is completely dead, we can still refill it, but it has less successive rate of 60%.
This is because some dead Li-ion batteries work and some do not depending on the circuit design. On Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries it can still be refilled 90% successively, even if they are completely dead.
8. I have an old computer and it does not exist anymore. Can I still receive this service?
Yes, we can do refill service for your laptop battery and for any other non-existing laptop. We can make it run better and longer than a new one.
9. How does the refilling battery service work?
1) We check the condition of circuit to see if the battery is still working
2) We open the battery case and remove the old cells.
3) We place a new, welded series of hi-capacity cells into the battery.
4) We check the circuit and test the new cells.
5) We close the opened case using ultrasonic sealing machine.
10. After the refill will my battery look the same as before?
It is not easy to open a laptop battery and sometimes there can be small marks left after the service. However, laptop batteries are usually attached on the bottom or inserted to the body so the marks will be barely noticeable. If you are still concerned with the battery appearance, we suggest you buy a new battery.
11. What if my battery does not work after the service?
We have a 30 day money back guarantee( excluding shipping cost ). We need the installed cells back to issue a refund. You can return your refilled battery, and we will send you back your old battery containing the old cells.

We also give 6 months warranty on all refilled batteries done by us. If the battery capacity drops suddenly we will refill your battery without any charge. However, if your battery dies suddenly during our 6 months warranty period this cannot be covered by the warranty because it is likely the electronics in the battery went bad. We cannot fix the electronic in the battery pack.
12. What is a Digital Circuit?
All Li-ion laptop batteries have cell protection circuits and most of them have charge indicators. This circuit board communicates with the laptop and provides remaining capacity, output voltage, and temperature information.
13. What is the memory effect?
Ni-Cd, and Ni-Mh batteries suffer from “ the memory effect”. If a battery is charged only partially and discharged before re-charging, the battery cannot remember that it has the capacity to further discharge completely. The only way to avoid the dreaded memory effect is to fully cycle your battery at least once every two to three weeks. Follow instructions on. #5
14. What is the digital memory effect?
Only Li-ion batteries have a “digital memory effect” Li-ion laptop batteries require a cell protection circuit and usually have a charge indicator circuit. This charge indicator circuit records the remaining capacity of the battery cells. If different capacity or charged state battery cells are attached to the circuit, the circuit won’t recognize the new information until its cells are fully charged and discharged a couple of times. Follow instructions on #5
15. Can I pay by personal or business check?
No. We only accept Money Order, Visa, Master Card, and Amex through Paypal.
